Infertility Support

Infertility is quite common; in fact, 1 in 8 couples experience it, and yet it still carries a stigma that prevents many of us from talking about it. At the LPC, we believe that no one deserves to carry the burden of secrecy or shame when facing infertility. While it may be a sensitive topic, keeping your feelings inside can lead to increased shame. We want to counteract this by giving you the opportunity to talk openly about how infertility affects you.

At the LPC, we understand that any reproductive loss can cause immense grief, relationship difficulty, frustration, jealousy, and even cause you to doubt or struggle with your faith. We can pair you with a Care Coach who can walk alongside you in the process, listen to you, and provide an unbiased ear. We can provide counseling for you alone, you and a partner, or even others affected, like family members.

Adoption Support

Adoption isn’t a simple or easy choice, but it might be a decision that works for you and your child. It’s okay to have questions and concerns about adoption. The LPC exists to help you work through these questions.

Parents who place a child for adoption are not failures. Secrecy and judgment surrounding an adoption can lead to feelings of toxic shame; this is not God’s plan for you! You can be a good and loving parent AND choose to place your child with an adoptive family. It can be a healthy and meaningful choice for you and your baby.

The LPC - Adoption Support

Care Coaches at the LPC can walk alongside you during the decision-making process as well as the journey if you choose adoption. While a Care Coach will not assist you in making a decision or refer adoption agencies, they can give you accurate and unbiased information on the adoption process and emotionally support you in making the decision that is best for you.

The LPC Supports birth parents, adoptive parents, family members, and adoptees.

If you are considering adoption, we can help by walking alongside you during the decision-making process. We can provide accurate and unbiased information on adoption if you are looking for a trustworthy source of information. We can also support you through the adoption process if that is what you choose. We will not pressure or attempt to influence your decision, refer you to a specific adoption agency, or broker or arrange an adoption on your behalf. We are only interested in your emotional, spiritual, and physical health and supporting the decision your make, whatever that decision is.

Adoption Planning Tips

You have the right to…
