Standard of Care
The LPC Standard of Care
The LPC approach is client-focused, utilizing a team of screened and trained staff and volunteers with a relational, counseling-based service model of care. This is done in a safe, medically supported setting, engaging with clients before, during, and after their reproductive journey.
The LPC is committed to:
- A compassionate response regardless of differing backgrounds, viewpoints, religious beliefs, or reproductive history.
- Being genuine in all communications, we aim to follow the client’s lead while giving accurate, truthful information as requested. We do not offer, recommend, or refer for abortion or abortion services.
- An innovative response and approach, maintaining relevance while utilizing trauma-informed care.
- Serving with integrity by maintaining confidentiality and building ongoing client relationships to provide emotional support and practical resources.
- Offering excellent care and education while listening without being focused on outcomes.
- Striving to be a safe place for those who need to process the impact of a reproductive loss in their story, including abortion, we recognize that reproductive loss touches everyone at some point as a shared human experience.
Our standard of care is wrapped up in the fact that you matter and your voice matters. We desire to honor the image of God in every person. We aim to listen well and be present with our clients without manipulation or agenda. We choose to share the love of Jesus.
We are Listening People who Care.
