As we navigate through relationships and intimacy, singleness tends to be responded to with troubleshooting and advice. As a result, it may be difficult to find a place where you can comfortably and openly discuss your feelings around singleness. Here at the LPC, we feel singleness should be treated with the same respect given any relationship status. How you feel about being single is individual to you, and we respect whatever that looks like.
The LPC holds space for unpartnered individuals, whether by choice, life circumstances, or simply not having found the right person. We are here to help you process and understand healthy relationships, intimacy, and sexual responsibility, as well as the spiritual implications of living outside of a romantic relationship. We understand that, for many single people, there is a spiritual tension around this relationship status, and a struggle to feel accepted within our church communities. We are here to help you process your role, identity, and purpose as an individual and a member of a spiritual community. Our Care Coaches are equipped to walk alongside you as you need.
Additionally, you may want support around singleness as it relates to your reproductive journey, whether this means managing single parenthood or grieving the fact that children will not be a part of your journey. You do not have to navigate this journey alone: we are here to support you.
At the LPC, we feel singleness should be treated with the same respect that is given to any relationship status.
