The LPC Care Model

“We comfort others with the comfort we have been given.”

At the LPC, we are committed to an integrated approach to care that is concerned with your physical, spiritual, and emotional health–not just one portion of your experience. Our Care Coaches are trained to support you in the intersection of your needs, taking a holistic look at what makes you who you are, and how they can best support you in this chapter of your story.

You are a complex being, with dreams, needs, thoughts, relationships, and experiences. To ignore any part of that complexity is to operate without vital parts of information about what makes you unique.

As you can see in our Spiritual/Theological Foundations, the LPC’s mission is to glorify God and make the Gospel of Jesus known by caring for women and men as God intended, showing them the reality of Jesus through our actions and words, and respecting the innate, inborn value each person has as a creation of God. This respect for your personhood is why we approach clients with curiosity, humility, and empathy.

Only you know what you have been through.

Only you know how you feel.

Only you know what it feels like to be inside of your body.

Our desire is to sit alongside you and help you process what is happening in this portion of your life story. This may involve walking you through the process of grief or healing, discovering the agency you have over your life and decisions, or simply realizing your worth and intrinsic value. You are unique, cherished, created, and loved by God. We want to show up for you as Jesus does: with empathy, understanding, curiosity, and calm.

Our Care Model emphasizes the continuation of care to support you through the journey you find yourself on, which we recognize as only one chapter of your unique life story. We recognize that some experiences are not timed or linear, which is why we will continue to follow up with you, listen to you, and pray for you for as long as 18 months if desired. We will be a safe place for you to process your thoughts and emotions and we can locate additional resources for you if needed.

You are unique, cherished, purposefully created, and loved by God.

We want to show up for you as Jesus does: with empathy, understanding, curiosity, and calm.
