Relationships, Love, & Intimacy
Client-focused help from people who care.

Relationships are so important to our lives. They impact our thoughts and beliefs and form our support system. During certain times in our lives, we will need to rely heavily on our relationships for emotional and physical support. At the LPC, we recognize that relationships can be difficult, especially because of their importance to us. Life events can add stress to the bonds between us, and leave us feeling scared and lonely. This is where the LPC can help.
It is our honor to support you.
We believe that you do not deserve to walk through any chapter of your life feeling alone. It is our honor and responsibility to support you when you feel as though you have nowhere else to turn. Some examples of relationship stressors are:
- navigating an unexpected pregnancy and the impact it is having on your romantic partner, parents, siblings, or close friends
- grieving a loss and struggling to communicate your pain to those closest to you
- healing from abuse or intimate partner violence and trying to decide how to move forward with your partner, or whether you want to move forward in this relationship at all
- struggling with the decision made by an adult child to terminate a pregnancy or place their child for adoption.
- experiencing infertility and finding it difficult to be happy for your family and friends who announce pregnancies

You don't deserve to feel scared and lonely.
We are here to listen without condemnation as you process healthy communication, trust, boundaries, sexual responsibility, infidelity, and more. You can meet with a Care Coach one-on-one or request support as a couple.
You are not alone. We are here to help you.
Singleness
As we navigate through relationships and intimacy, singleness tends to be responded to with troubleshooting and advice. As a result, it may be difficult to find a place where you can comfortably and openly discuss your feelings around singleness. Here at the LPC, we feel singleness should be treated with the same respect given any relationship status. How you feel about being single is individual to you, and we respect whatever that looks like.
The LPC holds space for unpartnered individuals, whether by choice, life circumstances, or simply not having found the right person. We are here to help you process and understand healthy relationships, intimacy, and sexual responsibility, as well as the spiritual implications of living outside of a romantic relationship. We understand that, for many single people, there is a spiritual tension around this relationship status, and a struggle to feel accepted within our church communities. We are here to help you process your role, identity, and purpose as an individual and a member of a spiritual community. Our Care Coaches are equipped to walk alongside you as you need.
Additionally, you may want support around singleness as it relates to your reproductive journey, whether this means managing single parenthood or grieving the fact that children will not be a part of your journey. You do not have to navigate this journey alone: we are here to support you.
