Learn

In your Christian life, you may find that some questions are more difficult to answer than others. You may have discovered the LPC and the work we do and wondered how we answer some of these questions, or on which principles we base our values and mission, and the methodology we use to support our clients. We offer different ways to learn more about the LPC, our work, our services, and much more.

Spiritual Foundations

The LPC exists to glorify God and make known the Gospel of Jesus Christ by offering spiritual, physical, and emotional care for all women and men in their reproductive journey. We believe strongly that we have been asked by Jesus to love our neighbor as ourselves and to love one another as we are loved by Jesus. We take this commandment seriously. The purpose of the work we do is to love one another, and we live this out by supporting one another during times of crisis and difficulty related to reproduction. We provide support to people experiencing pregnancy, reproductive loss, and relationship issues. We believe that by offering spiritual, emotional, and physical care during these crucial and important times in the lives of others, we can glorify God and make known the love of Jesus.

More Than Mud

This seminar is an in-depth study of theology and principles about God, the Gospel, worldviews, and interpersonal dynamics. It provides participants with the foundation and framework integral to the LPC’s mission and approach. It is designed to challenge you to consider your response to the issues of abortion, unintended pregnancy, and intimacy. This seminar is also a required prerequisite to any volunteer or staff roles at the Center.

Agents of Hope

This course is a follow-up to More Than Mud, allowing you to take what you have learned and work on deeper counseling skills. It can only be taken after the participant has completed More Than Mud.

Speaking/Workshops

The LPC can come to your organization and speak on many topics, including giving an overview of the LPC, what we offer and the services we provide, as well as other topics related to spiritual, physical, and emotional health as they relate to topics around our relational and reproductive journeys.
