More Than Mud
“Because whether we are confronting unintended pregnancy, the impact of abortion, or life in a broken world, wrestling with our ideas about God, self, and others is necessary for living honestly.”
This seminar is an in-depth study of theology and principles about God, the Gospel, worldviews, and interpersonal dynamics. It provides participants with the foundation and framework integral to the LPC’s mission and approach. It is designed to challenge you to consider your response to the issues of abortion, unintended pregnancy, and intimacy.
We examine the intersection of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with beliefs reflected in popular culture
We explore concepts of image-bearing, human dignity, and human flourishing
We invite you to think beyond silos and slogans and instead pursue an integrated, Christ-centered response.
More Than Mud provides more than an overview of the LPC’s history, services, and serving opportunities. We explore concepts of image-bearing, human dignity, and human flourishing. We examine the intersection of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with beliefs reflected in popular culture. We dig deep.
As part of the LPC training program, participants who complete More Than Mud are qualified to begin volunteering in entry-level roles at the Center.
God shaped us for a purpose. We are not disposable or unremarkable. We are not dirt. We are His work for His light to fill. We are More Than Mud.

Attendance for the entire session is required to serve at the LPC.
